It does not matter if you enter, taste, judge, observe, work, hang out. BUT if you don’t go, you will miss a great day of fun in Astor, Florida.
Live Entertainment - The Shambles
Anyone can be a contestant, as everyone makes chili and cooks ribs. Let’s get our local talent involved as contestants. To become a CONTESTANT, please complete a registration form available online at www.astorchamber.com or pick up at any local business. SPACE IS LIMITED. Mail or bring to any local business $25.00

DEADLINE IS MARCH 10th. After March 10th, registration fee is $40, call for availablility.

EVENT: Red Chili (Blind Tasting by 4 Judges) 1st PLACE PRIZE: $500 and Trophy
EVENT: Ribs (Blind Tasting by 4 Judges) 1st PLACE PRIZE: $500 and Trophy
EVENT: People’s Choice (Chili) 1st PLACE PRIZE $250 and Trophy
EVENT: People’s Choice (Ribs) 1st PLACE PRIZE $250 and Trophy
EVENT: Best Booth Award:  Rooster chili and plaque
EVENT: Honorable Mention chili and ribs: $100 each

Noon - People's Choice Tasting Begins

The "SCRAMBLES" (Old time rock/roll and blues band) will be performing, Raffle giveaways each hour, Final Winner results 3:30 pm

A variety of vendors and outside bar with your favorite beverages.

Plenty of parking along Ann St.
Admission is $5.00 per person & includes 5 tasting tickets (under 12, free)
Additional tasting tickets, $1.00 each
