The Astor Area Chamber of Commerce is physically located in Astor, Florida at the Astor Mini Mall on SR 40. The Chamber serves the six bear - forest- river communities of Astor, Astor Park, Barberville, Emporia, Pierson and Volusia.  Astor and Astor Park are located in Lake County, while the other four communities are part of Volusia County. The Astor Area Chamber and the communities it serves are located near a host of Central Florida attractions including Daytona Beach and Orlando, and our communities border the beautiful St. Johns River and the Ocala National Forest.  The Chamber chose its new mascot - the black bear - since the majority of our communities lie along the Florida Black Bear Scenic Byway.  If you are in our area and have never been to our Chamber office in Astor, we know that after visiting this fishing village community you will see why Astor has earned the nickname "The Jewel of the St. Johns River.
